After reading some of the comments at this Politico article, saying that Republicans are getting increasingly nervous about Palin after her media performances, there something that needs pointing out. The questions she was asked, and failed utterly to answer, are not "gotcha" questions. They are questions that any serious candidate should be able to answer coherently and without hesitation, or sense that they are leading questions and avoid answering them. It follows that the level of intelligence expected of any serious candidate would enable her or him to know a leading question when they hear one.

Other than the fact she sucks, she's close to insane, and is nuts too, what's not to like?
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

But the republicans already have an out. They claim that the black, female, PBS moderator is bias. So they must have already thrown in the towel at the VP debate.

Ahh, that book was announced long before she was chosen for the debates.  And, Sara, what with reading all that stuff, would have known it.

So, have Michale Moore do it.  He hates both of them.

O, you two. :) She's read everything!! She knows all she needs to know, where to buy a six-pack and be a vice-president. Any American can do that lil ole job. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-cesca/sarah-six-pack-needs-to-p_b_130977.html I mean, it says so right there.

I have to admit that after reading the Cesca piece I am still laughing. I think it's because I think it's a lock that she will "win" the "debate" with Joe Biden. They will spin it as "she's just like you, a Joe Six-Pack governor who shoots moose!"

And the saddest part will be it's gonna appeal to all of those so-called edu-ma-kated mare-cuns hoo dun bin ta coll-age (yes, your dentist, your Wal-mart clerk, your car mechanic, your lawyer, your professor, your insurance rep.) As well as to Billy Bob and Bubbalene. *sigh*

Will someone terribly important, like who everyone will listen to, please tell everyone what they obviously have forgotten: We've already experienced almost 8 years of "Joe Six-Pack" as president. You want more?!!

EXACTLY! People seem to forget that a big part of why Bush is still in office is because of his [apparent] likability. "Oh, well he doesn't seem to have a lot of knowledge on the issues...but I like the guy." How well did that work out?

Unfortunately, in politics and in running a country, you need a politician. You don't see people wanting a "joe six-pack" as general of the army? No, because we need someone experienced in that line of work. Just like we need someone experienced in the job of president.

By the way, I live like a couple hour's drive from Mexico, maybe I should run for VP due to my overwhelming amount of foreign policy experience.

The person who debated with her 16 times in the race for Governor had some incite full info. She is not good with numbers and facts but she comes across as one understanding the masses and has that rapport. The moderator has an important job of bringing her back to the question and demanding it be answered. This will be interrupted as favoritism. So will go the debate, unless Bidon can lead her into a quandary.

Just thinking of all this makes me want to puke.

It wouldn't be so bad if intelligent and principled conservatives would run for office, but it's always the scum.

LOL, Sarah!! AND you are good-looking! How the heck can ya miss, luv. Perhaps you should write John McSame and offer to serve as his Secretary of State. Heck, I'm sure they'll need some Jill Six-Pack over there who's likeable and will bring in coffee, Krispy Kremes and a case of beer on Mondays!
