bind for others, pack for yourself

i got my pre-birthday present from amy on tuesday and i must say i am mighty excited. we went to a store that dennis suggested and found the perfect soft packy. i never really thought that having a realistic packer would make that much difference in my confidence level.

so i got to thinking, why wasn't i this confident when i was binding and it being visibly (or not so visibly, depends on how you look at it) noticable but not packing?

for me it feels like i bind to pass for others, but i do feel better when i do don't get me wrong. it just feels more like i have to in order to be viewed as a man (obviously). however, when packing, sure some people may notice, but it's not as noticable as a flat chest. packing for me is something that i do to feel complete and whole (instead of half a man or not adequate).

That store, Kiss, also has packy harnesses for about $15 that are awesome. Made by Aslan Leathers and they have a thick elastic waistband and a little pouch for the packy. I never notice mine at all when I'm wearing it.

Dennis

Haven't said it in a thread yet: great picture Tino.

thanks dennis, kind of a dark picture though, i'm neither tall nor dark, yet handsome  ::)! ha ha

i wanted to ask you (or anyone else reading this topic) about the comfort/noticability of a harness. for some reason i just can't see it feeling that "realistic". i'm wearing briefs for the first time in existence (very wierd, but kind of comfy) yet still find that it might be better with the Aslan Leathers harness. I saw it there, and although it looks like a jock strap (which would definately help with the mental comfortability) i wasn't sure if i would always be aware that it's hanging out there.

Interesting.  It's kind of like me tucking for others, rather than myself.  It doesn't show that well through clothing normally and doesn't bother me when held in place, but it just looks out of place seeing a bulge in a skirt.  :o

Actually, I don't have much feeling left in it, so it really doesn't matter whether it's tucked or not comfort-wise, but sometimes tucking does make using the bathroom often (drink lots of water) somewhat inconvenient, so I don't tuck when presenting as a male.

Tino,

I don't use a harness. I feel the same way about that. Will it feel strange or what? But Dennis says it does not, so give it a try if you want. My jeans are not baggy, so it will stay in place for the most part.

Melissa, If you see this, when you said not much feeling in "it" is that because of HRT?

Exactly. Whether anyone notices or not, if it gives you more confidence, if it makes you feel more comfortable and complete, it's essential to your well-being.
A guy on another forum told me he packs all the time, even when he's alone in the privacy of his own living room. Said it's what he needs to do to feel comfortable until he can afford a phallo.
I don't pack, but that's how I feel most comfortable. I'm the opposite, packing would make me feel uncomfortable. We've lived in unbearable discomfort for far too long. If there's anything we can do to feel better, more complete and whole, even the small things make a huge impact.

Tino,

Can you send me to the site where you got this packy? If it is what I think it is ( Have never heard it called that) I can give you a suggestion that will spare you even needing a harness, and that is completely unnoticable and comfortable. Many guys I know use this method, but I want to see if it is the same thing before I speak from assumption.

Peace,
Taylor

Well, it happened before HRT, but if it hadn't, then HRT would have done that.  My body started morphing on it's own.

it's from good vibrations (although i'm not sure that i could find it on the site). www.goodvibrations.com, they just called it "the soft packy".

i'd really like to hear your suggestion on what i could do to avoid a harness! even if it's not for the particular one that i have, i'd be interesting in finding out a better method.

thanks taylor!

and a quote from mr. nero...
QuoteA guy on another forum told me he packs all the time, even when he's alone in the privacy of his own living room.

i dont know if it's just the initial "this is great" ness of it all, but i pack with it around the house, while i'm out and even while i'm sleeping. to me, it is definately a comfort thing. now it just feels wrong to wake up and it's "missing"!!!

Hey Tino,
It is freaky how much you and Marco are alike.  Everytime we read one of your posts, we find more similarities!  Marco packs everywhere, including bed.  It completes him.  Not to be too graphic, but has Amy given it the "sqeeze test"?  I can't seem to be able to keep my hands off Marco's.  I find it to be quite the turn on!  I better be quiet now or someone is going to tell me to take it to the sexuality forum.

Congrats on the present!

Happy Birthday :icon_birthday:

I found even with briefs it would occasionally slip. The harness is the only thing that kept it in place and didn't feel uncomfortable. I tried putting it in a panty hose and slipping it over underwear elastic, but it stood out too much. I'm still always aware of it when I wear it even with Aslan's harness, that's why I don't wear it too often.

The more I watch bio boy crotches (straight guys) the more I realize that it's extremely rare that you can actually see something there.

Yes Dennis you are rigth (however I never check anyone's "area" for anything) but no one cant really see bulges unless you stare and watch intently for a while!

& yes Pam & we are shopping for another more advanced multi-purpose model asap! He he he.  >:D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAM  :D
tINO'S bIRthday is June 20th Geminis ha another thing in common! Is Marco a Capricorn? that'd be too funny or really scary.

Pam,

ha ha ha, that was great, amy's at work right now and we were just reading your reply together (but seperately). and yes she most certainly has... i think she's pretty turned on by it, but you'd have to ask her!

and that's the first "happy birthday" i've gotten yet (although amy did give me a "happy pre-birthday" which was great to!!!). thanks pam.

amy and i were also just talking about how freaky the parallel between the four of us is, you're the american version of our little canadian selves!

Tino,
First, let me clear up some confusion.  I'm not sure where you guys got the idea that it is my birthday, but it's not.  I was wishing you a happy birthday.  My birthday is April 27th.  I'm a Taurus and Marco is an Aries (sp?), he's March 24th.  We are a year apart (he's older).

Very cool that you and Amy are shopping for a more advanced model.  Marco has two.  The one he packs (soft) and the one we use for more recreational activities (hard).

Marco's daughter is chomping at the bit waiting to get onto this computer, so I will go for now.  Good luck with the shopping!  ;D

Hey Tino,

Ok, good it is the same one. they come in two sizes as well.  Here is what really works VERY well!

Items you need:  panty hose knee high  and a elastic waste band  3/4 in wide.( get this at the drug store)
sewing needle and thread ( manual is fine, machine is even better, but does not really matter!)

1. Pre measure the waist band to fit comfortable around your waist and cut  it.

2.Take the panty hose piece and wrap it around the base of the shaft in a figure eight form several times.

3.  You should be able to hold the panty hose left over section in your hand with the shaft hanging down in a natural position.

4. Take the elastic band and sew it end to end together so that it is a full circle.

5. Now take the left over panty hose piece that is on top where you left off and cut it as you fit it to be sewn to the waist band.
6. Sew the nylon to the waist band securely.

Now you can slip the wiast band on and your shaft will hang very normally and it will also NOT SLIP AT ALL!

The nice thing about this method:
1. No slipping at all
2. can wear in swim trunks, boxers, sweat pants and no underwear
3. can wear into the shower

You will notice it about as much as you notice your underwear band, because it is actually the same exact thing for most pairs.

The other thing is, if your pants ride down, someone will usually think they are seeing your underwear, and worst case they think they are torn, not unlike a man to have happen lol

If my directions do not make a lot of sense, let me know, because this is SO EASY!!

Down side:   when the waist band or nylon gets wet, it takes some time for it to dry. ( Choose selectively when you are going to wear it in the shower, but it is easy to clean this way. I suggest doing it first few times on the weekend when you can have it damp and not worry with going to work)

NOTE:

1. If you get it wet, apply powder to it, otherwise it feels very sticky and you need to condition it with powder for several months, older it is less often powder is a must ( like at the beach)

2. You will notice it darken in skin tone which is a good thing, because it looks more and more natural, to the point if someone were to see it just passing by they would never know the difference in a real life penis.

3. Over time you will notice that it does shrink down in size, but this takes a LOT of time. The life expectancy is about 2 yrs or more in many cases.

4. Believe it or not in many cases you can penitrate your partner with it. MUST USE A CONDOM! It keeps her safe from a vaginal infection and helps with penitration anyway. It is not perfect for this, but can be done.

Good Vibrations is a very reputable company. I have been in there many times when I was living in the Berkley area. I bought about 20 of these items and brought them out east to give to the guys that were in need of them, but were being gouged out here with being charged INSANE amounts for this item!  Like 800% over retail value!

If you cannot follow the above directions I will see about getting a picture of one to you that has already been put together, just let me know.

Good Luck and Peace!

Taylor,

Thanks a million man! I'm going to try it out as soon as possible. If I come across and problems or get lost I'll definately ask you about it. I'm really excited to see how it turns out (much better than loose packing in briefs I'm sure!).

How did you figure this out?

Also, thanks for the tips on maintenence etc. I wasn't too sure why the powder that people always say to put on it was important/ what the purpose is. So I've got to get on that as well. Over all, I am very pleased with the good vibrations packer. Think I'm going to be sticking with them for a long time coming.

Thanks again,

Hey Tino,

This idea came directly from the way things were done in the old days, just modified. Much easier, and much more effective. I am quite sure you are going to really find this exactly what your looking for.

Absolutely feel free to get up with me if you need assistance I will do what I can to make sure you get it correct.

Peace,

Taylor

That harness from Kiss is similar to the panty hose and waistband thing, only it's really thick elastic on the waist. Either way will work and you won't wind up with your packer trying to slide down your leg.
