Hi shychristine -
The first thing you should do is go to this site's Wiki and search on 'Tucking'. That should get you started.

Hi shychristine -

I'm home now and have some more time I know this post is going to be long but I thought I'd tell you how I tuck. I again recommend you looking at the tucking article in Susan's Wiki.

Tucking

Tucking in this context is taken to mean displacing the penis and testicles between the legs to present a flatter anterior pelvic appearance under clothing. This is done by displacing the testicles into the inguinal canals and then folding the penis between the legs. The position of the penis (between the legs folded back onto the perineum) keeps the testicles in the inguinal canals and results in the desired look.

I am aware of three ways of maintaining the position of the testicles and penis in this position. Very tight panties will do this as will a gaff. The third method, which will be further discussed below uses tape.

Before using any kind of tape I recommend close shaving of the scrotum and penis. It's best to use a sharp razor, some people prefer the Venus but I've found that any good safety razor will do. I generally do this in the shower at the same time I'm trimming and shaping my pubic hair. Shaving isn't absolutely necessary but if you don't it will be very painful removing the tape, which will take the hair with it.

The next thing I would recommend is testing the tape. My favorite tape is Johnson & Johnson FirstAid Secure Comfort Tape 1". This tape is perforated for easy tearing so you don't need scissors. It's a white cloth tape which I find very comfortable and easy to get into place. Another tape I've used is 3M Nexcare First Aid Premium 1". This tape is water proof, soft plastic and skin colored. I've read that some people use duct tape but this has never appealed to me. Once the scrotum is shaved cut a small piece of tape and paste it onto the scrotum and leave it as long as you can, up to a day or so to see if you have any allergic reactions. If you do try a different type of tape or consider the gaff or tight panties.

Once I'm showered and shaved I prepare the tape. I use 5 pieces, each about 3" long. Two of these I make into a 'T', sticky side to sticky side. Wrap the top limb of the 'T' loosely around the shaft of the penis. If you're circumcised as I am wrap just behind the head of the penis. If you're not circumcised experiment with the tape placement so that it's near the end. Be sure that the meatus (opening of the penis) is pointing directly back. If its not you run a very real risk of peeing on yourself. Now, as mentioned above, displace the testicles into the inguinal canals by gently pushing up then fold the penis between the legs. Press the sticky end of the long limb of the tape onto the perineum (the skin between the anus and base of the scrotum). This holds the penis in place for the rest of the procedure. Now pull the sides of the scrotum around the shaft of the penis forming a tunnel. I start from the front and work to the back taping the scrotum together. At this point I usually remove the 'T' shaped tape since I don't like the feeling of the tape on my perineum. You want to avoid putting tape directly on the glans penis. It can be very irritating and painful to remove. Now you've finished. Put on a cute pair of panties and enjoy the rest of your day!!

Some further observations. You should always do this laying down. I've tried sitting, squatting and standing but none of these have worked for me. When you first get started try propping a mirror against a pillow or something else so that you can see what you're doing. Don't expect to get it right the first time or first couple of dozen times you try but be persistent and you'll soon catch on. Don't be afraid to experiment. What I've described above works for me but there are many ways to do this. Find what works best for you. These days it takes me less than 5 min in the morning to get tucked. As I mentioned above I tuck after showering in the morning. Everything is clean and dry and my penis tends to be more flaccid which makes getting everything together easier.

Finally you might find tucking uncomfortable or painful when you first begin. One of the causes of pain is improper taping. If you're not taped tight enough the testicles can slip into and out of the inguinal canal into the scrotum. This "pop-gun" effect can be very painful. Keep trying and you'll soon figure out just how tight to tape. You might also experience aching in your testicles or lower pelvis when you start tucking. When I began I found I could go an hour or two before having to take everything down. After a while it became more and more comfortable until I now go all day and all night tucked, only taking it down to shower in the morning. I'm actually at the point where I'm uncomfortable when not tucked, and all of my clothes look so much better (down below).

Don't try to force anything. If something doesn't feel right just take the tape off. The testicles will naturally return to the scrotum. Don't forget that you'll need to sit to urinate. Consider wiping the meatus to remove any residual urine and keep your panties dry.

Best of luck. Let me know if I can answer any other questions. Hope this helps.

Hi Donnabobhair -

Thanks for the information. I've used tight panties to keep everything in place too and it really works well. The only problem I've had is pantie lines epically under clingy clothes or when I'm wearing something looser like tap pants. I never thought about shapeware but I would guess that would help smooth the pantie lines out, epically if you're wearing two pair.

Another trick I've found with taping is that I can combine only minimal taping and looser panties. What I do is push the testicles into the inguinal canals then pinch the front part of the scrotum over the base of the penis and hold it with one piece of tape. This with my regularly sized panties and even my male underwear will keep everything in place. It also allows me to stand to urinate (although I prefer sitting unless it's unsanitary).

I've not tried thong panties. I used to wear dance belts and really didn't like the strap up the back. I'm afraid that thongs would give me the same sensation. Also is there enough fabric in back for support? I'd think the head of the penis would be falling out. I've never tried a gaff for the same reason.

Finally I also agree about erections. I too am heterosexual male but have never had any problems with erections when tucked everything stays nice and soft.

Thanks for the info - I'll give it a try. Do you find some thongs work better than others??

I avoid tight clothes.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

I pride myself in how small my biological male "stuff" is "down there" that I must cover when I tuck. The penis is not the issue, because it just does not want to be anything but tiny when I'm a girl. I just must make sure all of my scrotum skin is contained so it does not get pinched by the elastic of my undies.

I'm envious!! While I don't have problems with erections when tucked I guess I'm about average size and don't get to small.

The biggest problem I've had with tucking is that I already wear the smallest size of panties available (5), and even pairing two thongs together doesn't do a terrific job without tape. I'm not going to wear childrens' underwear - besides, I think that abercrombie and fitch stopped selling thongs for preteens a few years ago.

Wow, there is some great information in this thread.  Thanks to all that offered input.  I've never been able to find this inguinal canal to tuck into.  I've tried many times but I just can't seem to locate it.  Maybe I'll try again tonight.  Again, thanks for the input.

So my GID has been particularly bad lately and I've been hating on the homeboys and how i'm not flat down there.

Decided to try some gaffs. Like everyone out there says, they're pretty much a waste of money. *perhaps* if you are a normal sized guy they'll fit your body, but if you've actually got a female sized body, the smallest sizes I could find were still too big. I am 5'3 115-120~, around a 33 inch hip and 28-29 inch waist. I was having to pull the gaffs so far up the back to make them tight enough that it seemed like they were halfway up my ribcage - and I actually like the feel of thongs. No realistic way to go out with a panty line that high other than a dress, and I don't wear them.

I have to make a correction on my earlier post: Victoria's secret and forever21 offer extra small size panties which may be smaller than the size 5 you find at sears/hanes/wal-mart/etc. I'm going to grab some from f21 and see how they work.

Browsing their website online resulted in something like 25 pairs I wanted to try, purely scientifically from the cut and materials. Argh.

Just curious... where would you go to buy a gaff?  ???

Autumn

Google. Gaff or cache sex / sex cache.

They say that male dancers use them for aesthetic purposes, so you may actually be able to get them from dance suppliers instead of *extremely* overpriced transgender/fetish boutiques.

But if your frame is large enough for them to fit properly, then you're probably large enough that small panties will be effective. You can always double up thongs and some materials are far stretchier than others. I haven't found what the best material combination for stretch combined with support is - would be great if people who've had success with just panties would mention what blends they prefer.

It should not be too difficult to find the right spot.
Think of it this way:
Gently support the testicles, one at a time and on each side of the penis, inside the scrotum, coaxing them up into their natural homes for the tuck. Not below or between the legs, but rather ever so slightly just next to and maybe just a little toward the front of the penis. You'll know it when you find the spot because your testicles will somehow just find their own way in.

This is a great explanation of how to get the testicles into the inguinal canals. If you've had hernia surgery it might be difficult though. Practice but don't force and you should get it.

A couple of other things I've thought of -- for me, at least, when I first started tucking it became uncomfortable after an hour or two. I'd get a strange dragging feeling in the testicles and I'd have to let everything down. Now that I've been doing it for a while if feels completely natural and I'm usually tucked all day and all night only taking things down to shower. These days its more uncomfortable for me to be untucked than tucked.

I was suprised at how easy it was for me the first time I tried tucking.
Be gentle and easy, everything will 'fall' into place up there.
There's not much discomfort as long as I maintain my posture in the
correct position...pelvis tilted forward...no problemo!

I've tried a lot of different tucking techniques but finally settled on tight panties under Lycra/Spandex shorts. Taping gives a good appearance but it is just to uncomfortable for me. When I do tape I use three strips of 1 - 1/2" wide material tape over a maxi pad. This feels great and the padding simulates a vagina very well under clothing. I cut a slit in the pad to allow for bio breaks. I can wear it all day without having to worry about fixing myself up after using the restroom. But after too long it begins to cut off blood flow and gets painful, so I just go with the tight panties.

I'm going to engineer a gaf and boobs that anyone can make at home with everyday household items if it's the last thing I do. It's my mission.

As most men go I'm not very well endowed so tucking is not a big problem. No pun intended. Genevieve
