"Sex Change Hospital," a six-part visit to the place where boys become
girls and vice versa, won't fall into everyone's viewing comfort zone.

For some, the high hurdles will come in two areas of this
documentary-style report: first, the whole idea of transgendering, and
second, some fairly graphic details about what's removed and what's
added for patients going in either direction.

On the other hand, the human part of the story - the things that
patients and the people in their lives go through - provides familiar
dramas about conflict, doubt and reconciliation. Often touching, those
stories can resonate with everyone.
