So, I posted earlier about how to convince my parents to let me take testosterone, and now it seems as if it may be in my grasp! YAY!!!    I haven't exactly gotten a yes, but it wasn't a no, so there is some progress being made. The deal is that we'd discuss it when I've got the money to pay for it myself. So, I was wondering... how much does it all cost?

I'm assuming you do not have health/drug insurance, so take my advice at face value.
My magic 8-ball of drug information says that a years worth of T will cost $233. (in the US)
This number includes the cost of syringes, alcohol prep pads, and a sharps container, but not postage.

I use the gel and it's covered by insurance.  $20 copay for a month.  My endo thought it ran ~$150/mo without insurance.

Okay guess I was wrong.. I swear I got in trouble last time!

Injections privately are £30.00 approx $55.00 for a 3 month supply and for the gel privately is £45.00 per month so approx $79.00.

However my doctors cover it so for a month it is £7.10!

As long as you're not discussing dose, price is ok
