In this poll you can tell what is for your opinion about the worst state to live in the USA for a transsexual. California seems to have a huge lead in the opposite poll.

For Zythyra: In case a transsexuals would be not able to get treatments denial could be better than the pain that knowing the truth causes.

Well, I think Texas, Kansas, and Florida are the three states that have court decisions establishing that a post operative trans woman is not female for purposes of marriage, and that a post operative trans man is not male for purposes of marriage. Meanwhile, we've seen a lot of violence toward pre operative trans women in Tennessee recently. It's a tough call. I have not voted yet.

Along with these states anywhere you live you are going to face trouble...
Best thing is to decide on what YOU want as an INDIVIDUAL and base your move on those decisions alone...
I moved to Decatur, Illinois in June 2008 after lifving in San Francsico since 2000..
And Am Helluva lot happier than I was in SF...
Less trouble/Drama to deal with.
Ie Being called out
Thrown out of businesses etc

No one in SF is sick of me. I'm just one more person living the dream, in a city full of dreams. Perhaps its just that after a short time everyone got tired of you always having to lead the parade. But the rest of us, we're doing fine.
