For anyone in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, we are hosting a Transgender Candlelight Vigil. Lat year we hosted quite a few people, and it was very nice. If you are interested, email me at nickiemcnichols@yahoo.com, and I will send you the info.

The Transgender Day of Remembrance is November 20th.

The info on local activities seems sparse.
I'd like to do something on that day.

There will be a commemorative service in Buffalo, or rather, a Buffalo suburb, Cheektowaga, on November 15th at 7:00 pm, at the Cleveland Heights Christian Church, sponsored by Spectrum Transgender, Transgendered Couples of Western New York and Outspoken for Equality (an LGBT ally organization).  I'll be posting an announcement on the Calendar in due time.

I plan to be participating in the service but it isn't certain yet how.  I'll find out more after the planning meeting tomorrow night.

hugs & smiles
