Armed with a pair of pasties, a face full of glitter and a show
bursting with humor, Harry Dixon has turned in his suit and mustache
in order to promote feminism and lampoon politics.

Effie's Club Follies, a slapstick comedy burlesque group, is ready to
set Blur's stage on fire this Saturday with a joint Halloween show and
election year special performance.

"There will be hideous creatures like ghosts and zombies," said Amanda
Knisely, the group's founder and creative director who goes by Harry
Dixon in the drag king world and Miss Effie on stage. "(Republican
vice-presidential nominee) Sarah Palin will also be represented, so it
should be pretty frightening."
