The article makes a case for the Harry Benjamin Standards. I used to totally hate them, but over time have grown some appreciation for them. I could probably argue both for and against them now. I think what is important is that the article shows that you can de-transition, and that once you start transitioning, that you can go back.
Personally, I think you should have it pretty well figured out though before you start hormones, or the de-transition will become increasingly hard. However, I think it would be valuable for people to share why they de-transitioned as it could possibly help someone people who are still trying to figure out their own situation. As I know it was helpful for me to know the stories and feeling of people who have transitioned and gone on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.
