Doesn't it seem like most M2F's chose a name that starts with "K"?

Speak for yourself!

Getting that sexy K name was in fact my real motivation for transitioning.

This was my personal observation before I ever joined this forum and seems to be the case here still.

It just seems that a larger proportion of males-to-females choose these types of names.

I personally chose Kristen because it is a variation of my "Christian" male name.
Does this mean a lot of "Christ" males choose "K---" names as females?

What is it about "K"?

Special K? Hmm... I think I will have a bowl.

What's a "male-to-female?"

Oh, and my name starts with "E".

So even my mom likes Kara... But then I watched a show... First TV I've watched with my mom in months. We actually got along. But of course, the first time I've EVER heard the name on TV EVER, it was a freaking victim on a murder show. Like... THE victim.

DAMN IT. THE HELL????

Imagine the fun I had when i realized that the name I chose matched two of the main characters in the recent Battlestar series, Kara Thrace and Lee Adama.  That was a nice big pause in my train-wreck of thoughts and then the next empty space to be filled was wondering if I should change anything.  Not!  I still get a chuckle out of it though. :icon_lol:

Hurricane Katrina came up and wiped out New Orleans only a few months after I choose the name for myself...

Though, at least I won't have the initials WAR III anymore. Instead, they'll be KAR...I'm one R-name short of Knight Automated Roving Robot! =D

Wendy C

I wavered back and forth on my chosen name as to which would be first and middle name. It ended up being Wendy Catherine simply because Wendy is easier to write and faster. Catherine has always been been with me since my Mother relayed that it was the name she would have given me had fate not intervened. I was seven years old at the time when I ask her about it.  I note that Catherine is a variant of Katherine, again the "K" connection.  ::)
