Okay this question is for pre op and post op guys.

I've heard of getting pectoral implants when you get top surgery done... And if you think about it, there are a lot of FTMs after surgery whose chests are just plain flat, like no dimension to them.

A cisguy usually has dimension to his pecs whether or not he works out (I know, my dad has a good figure, but is slightly chubby, and still has pec shape).

So would you rather be flat as a board or get the implants? Or do the implants remind you too much of the freakbags you currently or once had?

Pre op guys: Are you thinking about this or is it out of the question?

Post op guys: If you've already done the surgery, would you think about going back and getting this done?

out of the question. why? just cause. but i too don't like the completely flat unnatural look i see on a lot of post-op guys.
but i just want them cut off and then be done with it myself.

I'll have to get my pecs the old fashioned way: pumping iron.  One plus of the double incision  is that the incision is the bottom line of the pec and can add to the illusion of pecs.  Not all guys have nice pecs.  Some are flat and some are kinda flabby (ie man boobs).  At this point in my life I just want the suckers gone.

I love that you used Simon Cowell as an example. .that is classic!!! I am not sure. Since joining this forum I have been really looking at the pros and cons of transitioning. Ya know? But I would probably want to try to put on muscle the natural way.

Nah, outta the question. I like completely flat chests thanks. Well a bit of shape is nice, but for myself, pecs would just look funny as I'm too skinny to pull off anything more than nicely toned.

You still grow the pecs from working out if you're FtM, it's just that we're a few decades behind in developing muscle compared to cisguys, and the surgery at first leaves the skin very tight. Me, I took the patient way and have pecs that look natural, not like hairy manboobs, like those.

It could be argued that Simon Cowell is a hairy manboob. ;)

Tetanus, my husband, agrees.

Um... why? They don't remove the pectoral muscles! I think pretty much anyone can build up those muscles if they really want to. Why not just keep the boobs?

LOL my bad!!! I was in a rush, inbetween a class and a meeting when I posted this, and I googled "pec implants" and his picture popped up XD

I didn't even recognize him to be honest. I thought his face looked familiar but I didn't know why LMAO

I dont think he has but I just found this..

QuoteBut what about Simon's purported pectoral implants? Earlier this month Louis Walsh, his co-star from the U.K.'s hit TV show "X-Factor" claimed his pal boasted "new t*ts." "No, absolutely not. I have not had cosmetic surgery," Simon assured the Daily Mail.

So possibly... he has the money to keep it all quiet so possibly!

Chamillion

no i wouldn't ever get them. if that was what i was after i'd just get breast reduction instead of getting 2 separate operations!
;D
  •

Mister

Why would you want pec implants?  Work out a bit and you'll be fine.  If you plan on testosterone, you probably won't even have to work out.  People who don't know I've had top surgery used to ask if I've had pec implants when I was shirtless.  I typically lied and said that I had to end the questioning.
