The discovery of a probable genetic cause for what was known as transsexualism was met with incredible negativity by the "transgender" crowd who went to incredible lengths and some decidedly twisted logic to oppose it. Why is that? The answer is very simple actually and the term for it is neogynophobia...they fear and hate women of transsexual history and will actively work against their civil rights. If they acknowledge we are different from them, they realize on a gut level they lose any legitimacy in the eyes of the general public.

The problem with this post is that the people Cathryn's talking about are themselves transsexual women.
