London hosts its first trans film festival

Transgender, intersex, androgyny, gender variant, trans feminists,
gender queer, and gender fluid persons of all natures will be
represented at next month's London Transgender Film Festival.

Organisers said the event is "long overdue."

At present there are no London film festivals completely dedicated to
transgender issues.

The festival that takes place from November 7th to 9th at the Ritzy
Picturehouse cinema and B3 Media in Brixton.
