I go to NYU. It's true, in a year here I've only met two republicans. One of them was my roommate last year, and one of them I met at work this year. Not only are we in a ridiculously liberal city, but this is a ridiculously liberal university. It makes the College Republicans here all the more vocal, though, because they know they're in the vast minority. And Tisch? Tisch is the School of Arts here. Must be even rarer, I think most of the republicans here go to the school of business.
I don't think I'll ever understand how a gay person can, with full conscience, actually agree with republican ideologies. Fiscal, maybe, but social ones, too? I know it happens, I just don't get it.
