Most often, though, it was the color contrast that was I was most drawn to in the various pictures but that wasn't an option.

Yep.  I often notice things that no one else does.. I'll point something out on the street and usually whoever I'm with will stare at me and ask, "how did you notice that?!"  But then again, I'm bad at noticing things that are right in front of my face..

Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?
