Linda

Hi all
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Linda.

I found Susans.org while searching the web for any and all information which may help me gain an understanding of TG and how it affects my true self as well as those friends and family I wish to keep dear to me. I'm mtf-cd?tg?, or,,, we shall see. As the story goes, I've known and felt this since,,,,, wa-a-a-y back

I have read several forum posts, checked out WIKI, and even chatted for a little while. Susan's looks like a wonderful place to gather information and meet nice people.  :)

I'm both excited and really nervous about all this but I'm glad I found this community.

see ya around!

Welcome to the site, honey. It's good to meet you. :)

Susan's is a wonderful place to get information and meet nice people. We have a lot of both here. :)

I look forward to reading your input. There's not really anything to be nervous about, hon, just jump in and get started.

Before you do, however, take a look at a couple of threads that explain the way the site works.

First up is the Site Terms of Service and rules to live by, which will show you what we hold to in terms of standards and conduct here at Susan's.

The other is the information regarding post ranks which will give you an idea about the facilities and priviledges you'll have access to as your participation here increases.

Thank you all for the comforting wishes and warm welcomes and great advice. It's nice to have a place where I see I'm not alone in all this. Even though it's been a large part of my life, I still find it difficult to express in words. The self-acceptance and self-awareness I see in the Forums I've visited has been revealing to me. Something I can learn from.

I guess from here it's kinda like "follow the yellow brick road".

Thx again

Hi Linda, You have come to a very good place to learn about yourself and others in the transgendered family. One size does not fit all and we are very diverse in the degree, if you will, of our GID and feelings. I hope you will make yourself at home and proceed at your own pace. A year ago I was just starting myself in active transition so I know how you feel about now. I will say that now that I have embraced my feelings I am much more comfortable and at peace then I ever was before. Hugs Sweetie.

Hiya Linda !   :icon_wave:

Welcome to Susan's!

I've been away a few days, so I'm just catching up..

I'm sort of stuck at the CD/TS boundary, I've worked out that my motivations are TS, but I'm not sure I want to put my loved ones through the pain so long as I can live with it.. Only time will tell..

Things seem to be a bit upside down here due to a software upgrade at the moment, but you will probably still need to make 15 posts before you can post images or PM people...

See you around  :icon_hug:

Hi everybody. I just wanted to thank those welcoming me since my last post. You are all so kind.

ty, Chrissty, I hear you. I've told  people in the past, with no real negativity resulting. I'm talking to a friend, who started her transition 4 years ago, about a good therapist. Funny, I told her (him at the time) like twenty years ago. It was the day the US landed on Kuwait. A year later she/he came out to me. Now she's full time ts.

I need to get about telling my current gf. I made a gross error of hiding everything when we met. I only hopes I can do it w/o wrecking our relationship.

Happy Turkey Day All!!!!
Thanks again,
Linda
