What sex are you in your dreams?

I don't often remember my dreams, but when I do they are very detailed. When I was younger, I was always a boy in my dreams. Later, by the time I was in middle school I found that although I was still male in my dreams, I would often be wearing women's clothes. Sometimes in the dreams, the clothes made me feel nervous and I didn't want to be seen, while other times it felt natural. I thought that this was odd since I had never crossdressed before. Since then, my form in my dreams is usually that of a biological female. Now, when I have these dreams I feel happier than I ever have before - even if the dream was more like a nightmare with sad and horrible things happening in it. Has anyone else had this kind of experience with their dreams? Do you crossdress in them? What is your physical sex in them?

I'm looking forward to hearing about your dreams! :)

I think I'm mostly male in my dreams, I don't really pay attention o.o Unless it's the type of dream where that thing would become apparent =P Then I'm always a boy

Definately female for a very long time. The ones i'm not tend to really bother me on a subconscious and then waking level, not very nice at all.

I think if something has possessed or obsessed you for so long you cant help but dream in that mode or thats how it feels for me.

Any dream analysts here btw?

Both. Sometimes a male form, sometimes a female form. A good percentage of my dreams deal with the past, thus I look like I did (and still do) - female.

Male, 99% of the time, rarely female.

God, I miss the old way of dreaming. When I was a kid, I was frequently a boy in my dreams. Now that almost never happens, even after I came out and started to accept myself as a guy.

I was hoping that at least in my dreams I could be male, but that hasn't happened. At least, it happens rarely.

I think it will take HRT and top surgery and a period of acclimation before I once again start dreaming about myself AS myself.

Well, it kinda depends. Of the dreams I remember (I remember a good amount), I'm usually a boy, but I notice it, like it is out of the ordinary. Sometimes I'm like I am now; with a girls body wanting to be male, and sometimes I switch between roles in dreams. And even other times I find odd cures to being transgendered, like this really cold water from some place makes breasts disappear for a short time (I know, weird, huh?).

It's kinda random, but I only have like 1 or 2 dreams a year where I am female without being trans.

ALWAYS male. Reason being if I REMEMBERED more than just 2 dreams from my entire life, I might have a better answer.

Well, I guess I COULD count my non-REM dreams. Usually, on the cusp of being almost-awake and just exiting REM sleep, I have (everyone once in a while) dreams where I meet my self from an alternate reality; I meet the "girl" me. Since it's a dream, the only way I can explain knowing what she is thinking is mental telepathy.  :P Otherwise...male.

I never really see myself at all in my dreams. Its as if I'm really there looking through my own eyes. If I happen upon a reflection of myself its always distinctly female but I can define it visually as being me.

However, when I hear myself speak in my dreams, its always a female voice and I have no doubt whatsoever that it is me who is speaking.

It varies.  If I'm seeing things from my own perspective, I'm usually not aware of gender, or else I am definitely male.  Often, though, I'm seeing the scene through the eyes of various characters.  I vividly remember a nightmare I had once in which I was simultaneously seeing things through the eyes of a killer, who was a man, and through the eyes of one of his victims, who was a little girl, while also being aware that I was really a psychic, who was a woman, picking up on something that had happened in the house long ago. - Yeah, I know, would have made a great episode of Medium;)

I am generally female in my dreams.  If I am male it is usually a nightmare, not only just beginning male but the content of the dream is terrifying. I will generally wake up in a panic or covered in sweat.

I see myself in all my dreams as a woman....past and present.  That only started about 4 months ago.  My nightmares are usually about being lost, having my dress torn, or dirty.  Or it's about being in public with no top on, and looking for one.
Nope.......only girl me dreams any more, thank God.

Hehehehe... it's Ranma 1/2.

I'm basically the same. Most the time, though, I'm male wanting to be a girl.

Usually, my dreams play out like movies--as in--I'm not in them.
Sometimes, I'm in the mind of the main character in the story, but I don't control it all that much. (It's a bit like I'm writing my dream as I would a story.)

When I am in my dreams, I'm usually paranoid--often about being found out as biologically female. So I guess that when I'm in my dreams, I'm me, except I pass.

Usually, I don't remember my dreams.

Pre HRT most of my dreams I would be male but with the gender issue  there, and would occasionally be female.  Since starting HRT it's the other way around.  Most of the time I'm female now and a lot of my dreams are of being female and coming out to people from my past.  Came out to my parents in one the other night.  Lol.  Guess that might be  a hint to me that it's getting about that time.

I was actually thinking about bringing up a thread like this. I'm male in a lot of dreams. Though sometimes I'm female, then something funky happens like I grow a penis or someone points out that I'm not really female.

I have been mostly female in my dreams for just about all my life. Sometimes I start out as one and end up the other gender. I actually remember the first dream in which I was a female and that was around age 5-6. I used to love it and had the same dream many times and it is still vivid in my mind. I think it was my wish. Now it just makes me sad that it never happened. Hugs

I come as a male.even when i cross dress in dreams..This proves to me that i m a cross dress and not a transexual...

I've been male, female and androgynous/unknown in my dreams..

All the dreams i had of being specifically female were more like nightmares though.. one dream i had i was pregnant, i woke up and felt depressed for days after... another i had (warning this is really sick), i was paralyzed and muted, completely stripped down, being raped by a woman with a dildo, in the lady parts  .. sadly the only sexual dream involving "myself".. wtf...??

then ive had dreams where i was male, going places, peeing while standing, many jerking off.. and they felt so real..

the rest of my dreams i remember are almost always bizarre, and the sky is always black..
