What sex are you in your dreams?

I'm neither. My dreams usually involve me as a disembodied observer flitting from one character to the next, inhabiting each for a little while. Even when I do take part in my dreams, there's no sense of a body there. I'm interacting with others in the dream, but I can never actually see any part of my body nor even guess what sex it is. Roles switch though: Mostly I'll inhabit a female role, sometimes a male one, but it's really more like I'm an actor or a possessing spirit subject to the events and narrative in my dream.

Hehehehe... it's Ranma 1/2.

I don't get it.  :(  :embarrassed:

It's an anime where a male character becomes female when splashed with cold water.

Odd thing to have an anime about... I might have to watch that! (I love anime stuff, but I don't have cable to watch, so I try to find specific names of good shows to watch online)

even though im bio female, i nearly always dreamt that i was male ever since i can remember.  Even daydream that i'm male.  Whenever i dream that i'm female i feel extremely uncomfortable, like i'm stuck.

There's a small but recurring percentage where I have both sets of sex organs, or I'm female above the waist but endowed like a guy below.  I'm male in about half my dreams.  Really sucks to wake up... *sigh*

When it comes to dreams, I've experienced the full spectrum in my lifetime.  I have transitioned and in my dreams now, I am always female.  And for several years now, while in public in my dreams, I've managed to keep all my clothes on.

I've had some truly odd dreams. In some, I am a woman (these I prefer, obviously), and in others, I am a male. I'd say the split is 90/10 female.

One of the most recent dreams involved me talking with a good looking man in some sort of temple. It looked like a Greek temple, like the Parthenon. He was tall, blond curly hair, and a mustache.

I was a woman, long black hair, and I was wearing sandals and a toga style robe. I had a gold necklace around my throat and a baby, about 8 months or so, in my arms.

The baby was mine, though I don't think the man was the father, though I knew I was the mother.

I think I cursed out loud when I woke up from that one. I wanted to see more.

Regards,
Angela

that's interesting, Angela Macleod.. sometimes i wonder if we have past lives, and dreams or random thoughts, nostalgia etc are helping us remember them...

this is kinda off topic but sort of related: whenever i wake up, i feel strange, like im OK with myself and my body. even if i've had a horrible nightmare about being female.. then i start to remember my problems, dysphoria etc... Makes me wonder if these feelings are even real, that maybe my brain is messing with me...

It's interesting ... For the first time in my life, last night, I had a dream in which I was aware of being trans.  I was trying to become intimate with someone, and remembered belatedly that I didn't actually have the right equipment. Strangely enough, the guy I was with didn't seem to notice, but I was slightly perturbed by it.  Huhn.  Must be spending too much time at Susan's.  ;)

Personally, I think my dream was prophetic, that I was seeing the future. I've had similar dreams, and they usually have come true. Not saying I'm psychic or something, just that I've noticed a pattern with my dreams becoming real.

I got the same feeling from this one.

Certainly not all my dreams are this way. Some are definitely stress dreams or normal dreams. But it's always the ones where I appear to be in a temple, dressed in a toga or similar clothes that have that feeling of the future.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just nuts.

P.S.-Call me Angela. The full name sounds so formal.  ;)

I had a night where everyone in my dreams was replaced by Chimpanzees.

I have that same dream about work, and it always ends with someone saying "OK, we're going with the Chimps from now on."

I usually don't pay attention. When I do, I'm me, bio-fem, FtM, and sometimes I grow a penis. o-0

One time I had a dream that I was about to go out and I forgot to bind, and I couldn't find my binder and by the time I found it, everyone had left without me already.  :-\

I usually don't have a sex in most of my dreams, I'm just there.  For the most part though, when there is a set sex, I'm almost always female.

In one dream I was fairly masculine, and this was noted because everyone in this dream was in their underwear.  And while the girls had on panties and bra's, and guys had on boxers, I was in my favorite pair of boxer briefs and a little bit of peach fuzz on my jaw, I also had nothing on top; no boobs, no binder, no nipples either, just flat skin.  Unfortunatly there wasn't anything below the belt either  :-\

Most of the time though I don't have any characteristics that push me to one side or the other, I'm just me.

I have always been male in my dreams, sometimes female. I have never seen what I look like.

I just know.

Vexing

The dreams I've had where I've been 100% female have been exceedingly rare; perhaps a couple of dreams in total.
It's far more common that I'm a trans woman in my dreams - in various stages of convincing appearance and surgery depending on the dream.
Considering I haven't been full time for very long (15 months) I still have many male dreams - and quite often dreams where I've been forced into the male role, despite knowing that I'm a trans woman (i.e. dreams where my hair has been cut off and I've been forced into military service as a male).

The More I think of crossdressing and turning in to a female the more dreams I have about being a female.

In my best dreams im a girl!
I can be any age ethnicity etc.
Sometimes Im just a girl, or something happens in the dream where I swap with one or crossdress.
But those only happen a few times a year :'(
