I'm TG but still have to is dress M for work. I went to the wedding of one of my staff yesterday, who knows all about me. She was stunning her now husband is gorgeous and so much her LP.  It was wonderful and I felt so lonely. He is a great guy and had lots of his male friends - fancied some. Her friends were so cute and well dressed - so jealous. I left the reception early, went home and cried.
Why did nature do this too me? and yet there are so many people worse off. At what point is this feeling of personal despair wrong when there are so many who just cannot eat, a TG in sudan, nigeria etc is a whole different problem.

Just because some are worse off it does not make your problem less valid.

I feel for you Cindy, I went through this about two weeks ago as well, horrible experience.
Just some of the highlights (low lights?): my brother (the groom) making sure everyone knew he voted yes on prop8 and using the microphone to force me to go try and catch the garter with the men. This was after maxing out my cards to get my mom and myself there.

It only got worse, the whole trip was like a trainwreck.

That is so unkind, why are there such perverts? Where you there as Leslie Ann? In which case I think you could charge it with abuse. In my case Sheree the bride knows about me and has shared her wedding day stuff with me, showed me the dress talked about hairstyles, all the girl stuff. She asked me the her Hen's night but warned me that others there may recognise me from work - a situation that is a no go zone. I just felt so out of place - at least I wore nice underwear!

I hope you win one of those big lotteries, fulfill your dreams and tell the jerk how much he isn't going to get.
'BTW I'm in Australia, what is prep8, I keep hearing about it but haven't heard the detail. In Adealide where I am it is illegal to discriminate against GLTG etc. I go to "normal" clubs and bars as Cindy and have never had a problem. Get the occasional look but don't all girls?

No one knows yet, I'm not out yet so some behavior can be excused but it doesn't make it any easier.

Prop8 was a vote in California to ban gay marriage, my brother made sure everyone knew he voted to ban it, despite there being two gay men in attendance when he said it.

Thanks Cindy, but I would rather win the lottery and have him in my life. We already have gone through a few years where we barely ever talked to each other. I don't want that to happen again, but it most likely will.
