I wanna start by apologizing for starting so many topics. I just have so many questions right now.

This one is fairly straightforward: how can I find someone to talk to about this stuff? I can't afford therapy and I'm not out to anyone in my life, but it would be wonderful if I could find someone to talk to. How would I find something like this? Does it exist, or am I just screwed until further notice?

don't worry about asking so many questions, it's the only way you'll get answers.

there is a section on this site for support groups, where are you from? hopefully you can find one somewhat near you. if the closest one is still too far away, call them - you might find that a member lives closer to you and would be willing to listen to you and help you or even offer a ride.

I'm from near Chicago, but on the Indiana side of the state border, if that helps. I tried looking for something close, but I can't find much except to go the city myself, which I'm hesitant about as I'm quite poor and nothing there is free.

Hey we are free we won't charge you. You need to show us a side view pic of you without makeup and tell us how you survive $$ so you can pay for stuff and we will help as best as we can. Don't worry about shrinks at this point.. That comes later after you find out what you need to do as far as transitioning and finishing to your liking.

I'm sure they have a contact number, give them a call and you might find a generous member that can give you a ride or at least listen for a little bit. sometimes all we need is for someone to listen.

I could get you a sideview pic without makeup, since I've never worn makeup, but what would that be for?

Well the sideview pic tells us a lot about what you need done to pass and be able to work as a female. It does help guide us to be able to help you. Many pass well frontal by sideview is the most criticle. You do want our honest opinion i would think? Otherwise you can as i say move to san fran and probably after getting evaluated get HRT and live an ok life but that is a tough city. It was for me so i left since i am a non sexual person.

See, I can't just pack up and move out to California. That would involve being jobless, penniless, friendless, and dropping out of school. A big part of my problem is that I feel trapped. I'm going to look into volunteer work, though. I think that's the best suggestion I've heard in a long time.
