Why, then, are Washington State agencies diluting their deserved recognition by insisting that a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) pride month be celebrated in the workplace? Gregoire's moral confusion must have infected them.

Of course, LGBT participants deserve equal treatment under law, but that does not include special, unequal, attention in the workplace.  Let's not dilute the extraordinary contributions of all our diverse ethnic/racial, which no doubt already encompass LGBTs.

Just as we should not proselytize at work, neither should we spotlight sex, or sexual orientation, in the workplace. LGBT represents broader lifestyles, but by definition their underpinning is sexual preference.  Most of us are tolerant and the lifestyles our coworkers choose is their business -- lets keep it so.
