How long do you have to be on estrogen and spiro to see any results at all? Is it normal to feel let down after a couple of days when nothing changes? I know it takes a while for anything to show but how long until at least something is different? I would like to know specifics like any changes to skin, face, body fat, hair, etc. Thanks!

Depends on your age and the dosage and a lot of other things that are very variable.

For me, I got into a B-cup in about 6 months and some softening to the skin, thinning of the nails (which I didn't like as I was still working as a mechanic) and I started to cry at the slightest provocation over the silliest of notions.

My migraines stopped in their tracks, which was the primary reason for my HRT from an endocrinologist in LA.

After those original 6 months, I was off the hormones (Premarin) and went on about my life, minus-migraines, which have NEVER returned, and went along fine for a bunch of years before taking Progynova for osteoporosis and BPH.

I now have the prostate of a teenager, the osteoporosis is unrepaired but not getting any worse and I am a full C-cup with some female fat on the butt and hips. Secondary body hair is minimal now and shaving of the legs and chest are not necessary but once a week at worst.

Your results will prolly vary a lot and I bet there is no "typical" results for anyone.

hmm well i just started hormone therapy late last month.
my breasts are devoloping very quickly o.o and my skin has become softer (skin was already soft before hormone intake) uhh let's see, my bottom has got a major boost, and my thighs have grown =O my cheeks have become fuller and my emotions have been wacko. my hair has gotten a little softer (hair was also naturally soft before hormone intake) arm and leg hair, have decreased...i didnt grow much hair there anyway. so yea, hormones are taking affect rather quickly on my body. ^^
i've been on estrogen for a month and a day now. n.n
