when you talk in your head what does the voice sound like?  is it like your voice actually sounds?  for those who arent on T, does it sound deep as if you were?  those who are on T, does it sound like it used to before T changed it?

nope. it sounds like my voice now.

Before I went on T, I thought in my normal speaking voice at the time. When I got on T and my voice started to change, there was a bit of a lag in the tone of my thoughts... then they caught up, and now I just think in my normal speaking voice, now. Still haven't entirely figured out how to sing in my entire range, though.

pre-T. just the way it sounds. never thought about it before.

I never actually thought about it either until you brought it up. To me I guess it sounds the
same a little deeper maybe. However I have never recorded myself talking post T.

Sounds much deeper in my head now than it did pre-T.  But it sounds even deeper "on the outside."  "Outside" meaning, what other people hear.  A friend videotaped me at a party recently.  I was amazed how deep my voice has become.  Deeper than most other guys in my life.   

In my ears, my speaking voice is deep, though in truth it's just low. The louder I speak, the higher the pitch. In my head, my voice sounds like what I'd expect it to be at this point if I'd been male: deep, gruff. I try to speak that way, but it doesn't always work, only sometimes. This is one of the reasons I keep my counsel as much as possible, and don't open my mouth with strangers unless it's absolutely necessary. Unfortunately it almost always is... *sigh*

True for most humans, which is why people can sing notes they can't speak.

Fate blessed me with an almost humorously deep voice from the day I was born - no joke, when I spoke my first word, the babysitter watching over me freaked out and thought there was a male intruder in the house - so my thoughts have always sounded, as I tell my friends, "like a 50 year old man on the wrong side of far too many cigarettes."

Which is not necessarily a bad thing, not at all.

-shrug- My voice is naturally deep, and I've spoke a little lower than that for years, since I was in eighth grade so. I'm pre-T and thus my voice passes anyways.

My inner monologue is pretty deep. Definately deeper than my voice.
