well for me at least i do it to hide my old sugery scars on my legs, because it's pretty bad so i use them to at least hide the scars so it doesn't bother me anyone else have this problem.

Yes. Tights and stockings can be used for hiding scars. I do not have serious scars in my legs, but have some minor marks. I wear leggings to warm my legs when I exercise outdoors in winer. In summer, I tan my legs to hide minor marks.

Opaque tights are also good for hiding varicose veins.

No, I don't have the problem ... yet ... but my mother did.
