Don't really know what to write here so I will basically tell you about myself. Ever since I was about 13 ive had these feelings that something wasnt right, and it was around that time that nadia was in big brother in britain and when i heard that she had, had surgery to become a women something felt right. Since then i have been obsessed with being a girl albeit only putting on my mums clothes and make up when everyones out the house. Now i have taking the step of self referring myself to a gender therapist but i really need to come out to my parents and to say the least im scared.

As previously stated, you will find that quite a few of us have written our "coming out" experiences here.  Take some time to look these over, it could be very helpful.  I think that being afraid to come out is pretty normal and it's a big step, but once it happens, it could bring considerable relief.  Anyway, welcome to Susan's!
