I was born physically female. Hated it. I wear female clothes, wear makeup, have my hair in a feminine style, and love it. It's the anatomy I can't bear. When I came out to several friends they said that I couldn't be a transguy if I liked *looking* like a female. To me, I'm just a feminine gay male stuck in the wrong body. If I were born male [only in the best dreams], I'd dress exactly like I do now, except I'd be happy with what was under the clothing. So... anyone else like me out there?

Well, I hate female clothes, but makeup and hair are fun. :)

I don't feel like you about feminine clothing, but I wanted to welcome you to the boards.
I certainly won't judge you, just because you like to dress differently than I.
(I'm FtM as well)

My wardrobe is mostly women's clothes, and I am growing my hair to be long again.  What I won't wear is tight tops (I don't care to show off "the boys") and skirts or dresses (people will compliment me all day for fulfilling gender roles, among other things).  I do want to make wardrobe changes, but that has to do with an overabundance of sloppy clothes and lack of black ones rather than with masculinizing my look.

And no, I don't wear female clothing, but I can see where you're coming from. It'd be easier for me to wear a dress as a man. Well. Easier on me. What the rest of the world would say however... :/

What he said.  Personally I wouldn't want to wear particularly femme style clothing but thats just my natural expression of my character.  if for some bizarre reason I had too then it certainly would be easier to wear a femme item of clothing if I passed 100% in the sense that I would feel more comfortable because I wouldn't feel someone was mistaking me for a girl.

Are you QUITE certain that's a dude????

Anyways... I can't imagine wanting to wear chicks' clothing. Me, I, myself. Others... go for it! Everyone is different. I don't think for a second there should be a strict definition for any type of person. There are ftms who want to be entirely, traditionally male, down to having every girly part removed. Heck, I think they'd have their genetics changed if it were possible. There are some who choose never to have a bit of surgery or hormones. There are some, like me, who want to have top surgery but never bottom, who are on testosterone, and are happy with their plans. I don't see that there's any ONE way to be, no matter how you're classified.

So yeah, I personally wouldn't wear girly clothes, but I do find myself wishing, more often than not, that there were men's clothes in colors like neon pink and various shades of purple, and I've found myself gazing longingly at women's clothing just because of the fabric. Maybe I need to design my own. Who knows.

I read an article a while back about an FtM who works as a professional drag queen.  *shrugs*  Not my bag, but if it makes you happy, more power to you.

Haha I'm one of the ones who would love for my genetics to be changed. That way I'd feel more secure in feminine clothing, knowing that people didn't think I was a girl. As it is, I'll accept this body as is.. until T and surgery
