"According to the Bible homosexuality should be punishable by death. I would be overjoyed if every single queer in the entire world died today. The Bible makes it clear they are reprobates who are past the point of salvation. The Bible also makes it clear they are rapists & very wicked people. They have no chance to get saved and no saved person could ever become a queer. Therefore, I would be overjoyed if they all died tonight & our government would actually follow what the Bible states. The death penalty should be enacted for the queers."

-- Nutjob blogger Matthew Stucky in a spectacularly bat->-bleeped-<- crazy blogpost that manages to tie in Satan [sic] Clause, his queer reindeer (except Rudolph!), Peter Pan, the death penalty. As an extra bonus, you'll get a quote from Leviticus absolutely free! Be warned: If you follow the link your head will explode from the extreme change in stupidity levels.

"Let's go back to the story from the animated movie with Rudolph. Rudolph gets shy around girls & his nose turns red. As a result, the other reindeer won't let him play any reindeer games. That sounds sick, perverted & homosexual. Basically Rudolph like girls because he is straight & as a result they don't let him participate in their homosexual games."

I laughed.

I wonder what this prat would say if i qouted this line from the bible too him

'God Loves All children'
Since he is taking the bible story and twisting it to fit his views, his needs (which are clearly to hurt the homosexuals) i wonder what he'd do if i repayed the favour and twisted this to hurt him?

The reason the bible has worked for so long is because it is based on simple manipulation techniques, using generic statements and basically has way over a thousand different meanings for evey line written.

What's this?  Something created by the Department of Redundancy Department?  Does not one pretty much equal the other?  You believe in invisible friends who run the universe?  Really?

In some ways that is true.  But that is only because of the blind faith that some people put into it.

Blind faith?  Any faith is more like it.  That book can hurt people in two ways, one is to believe in it, the other is to throw it at people.  While I prefer the second, I think more damage results from the first.

QuoteHollywood has always had agendas they are trying to push and one of those major agendas is homosexuality is ok. It's no big deal. Another one they are trying to push is "It's ok for women to work."

I'm beginning to see a pattern in these types of nut jobs. Not only do they hate 'homos' but they apparently hate women as well.

Oh, and those movies he is so passionately quoting? Didn't he know that Peter  Pan was a play before a movie? Did he know the context it was written in? Or even Beauty and the Beast what the point of the love was?

I guess my high school teacher was right. There really is a lot of s*** on the internet. :-\

Faith isn't bad in itself. It is what someone does while acting on that faith that counts. Many people have done wonderful, heroic, and self-sacrificing things in the name of their faith. Just as many as those who have spread hate and pain in the name of their faith as well.

I may no longer be a christian, but I know Christians who are good people and do good things. I also know people who have done some awful things in the name of their faith.

Sexism and homophobia are directly linked-- that's the patriarchal system for you. Feminism and LGBT equality are inherently joined together.
Here's what I find about compromise--
don't do it if it hurts inside,
'cause either way you're screwed,
eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride

I would prefer to bend his mind with these two passages:

"'As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.'" (Ezekiel 33:11)

"Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His godly ones." (Psalm 116:15)

This must mean that god wants Christians to die and sinners to live.
