Hi all, Im 42 y/o , I've been "dressing" off and on for years, but NEVER told anyone about it. My dressing has been limited to Salvation Army and Savers dressing rooms. Never buying for fear of ridicule, or worse. Yesterday I was talking to my wife-to-be, asking her how she felt about CDs . She said she has no problem with them. That was great :), So  I asked her if she'd ever date anyone that likes to cross dress. She said that would not be a problem. Then I dropped the bomb that I was a CD, her reaction was a big smile and she said "cool". We were shopping later that day. Unknown to me, she bought me a couple skirts. I also came out to my future step daughter and her girlfriend, their reactions were much like my wife-to-be's.

Thank you for letting me rant on like this, I look forward to chatting with you girls

bye for now

Hey Bri!

Welcome to Susan's!  It is great to hear that the family has accepted you!

That is so heart-warming!  Please keep us informed of how things progress!  Not all of us are as fortunate!  Hearing about your continued good fortune is a source of strength and inspiration for those of us who deal with other things!

Welcome to Susans.

You have a nice upbeat introductory post.  The only downside is you had to wait all those years to share your feelings with someone.  At least now you can feel free.

It's a pleasure to meet you, Brianna. I started dressing only 3 1/2 years ago at fifty-six. Love every minute of it.

 ;D Hi Brianna, and welcome
I'm in my forties also. Started dressing in my teens. I was mostly secret about it. But my sister's friends seemed to get a kick out of dressing me up and doing my make up. I miss those days.

Hi and welcome. I was accepted by my wife pre-marrige and had a wonderful life. Remember it's a two way street. She needs treats too! And do remember to do some of the female (?) chores, cooking, cleaning - particularly bathrooms etc. If she is going to accept you do it. And no; not in a french maids outfit

Frederick's of Hollywood has allot of great costumes and shoes that will fit my big feet. Owo, but I'm already so tall. That's OK, I like the heels.

Ya Know Cindy, if you play with the little bar thingy under your picture, it makes you look like your dancing. I love to go dancing. But there's no clubs here in my town and no one to take me out anyway

Owo, silly Virginia!!!

Oh, your no fun......lol

I've always done "female" chores. In fact, for me I enjoy some of them, such as ironing  and doing the dishes.

I fully realize how lucky I am that my family is accepting of me. I wish all families could be as accepting.

bye for now,
Bri :)
