Hiyas!  I'm a 28yr old _toF,  since gods only know what I really was to begin with,  never have officially had it checked out.   I suppose I should give at least a little bit of rambly history and such though.

I first came out as trans_ when I was 17,  or well,  I tried to come out but the timing just wasn't right for that sort of thing for me and since I was still in high school the therapist I was seeing just didn't work out well either.

A few more years went by and I just sort of went on with life. Went to a junior college for a bit, had a decent job for a while and met and married my partner.    Shortly after we were married in 2005 I brought everything up again and came out to my partner who was fairly shocked but was accepting very soon afterwards.

After that we began the process of coming out to family and starting with the whole transition business. We found a completely awesome therapist right off the bat that was entirely understanding and started HRT a short 3 months later. Since then I've just worked out my own personal stylings and my partner has been amazingly helpful even when what I've wanted hasn't exactly been their area of expertise either.

Overall I think I've been rather lucky.  I've managed to pass completely from the very beginning.  No voice work or hair removal at all amazingly.  The only people who know at all are close friends and medical professionals who have all been very accepting up here in NY state.

Thanks for reading though,  hopefully it wasn't too terribly long. ^^;

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi Atropa,

Welcome to our little family. Over 1490 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.

Thanks for the welcome.  As to the questions about the name,  it's just a modifcation of a nick i've used elsewhere. The full being atropa belladonna, or the better known name,  the deadly nightshade.  ^_^
