I just read an article about transgenders/transexuals suing their doctors for having the "SRS" done! What kind of crap is this! I understand that one can change their mind, but is it the doctor's or the psychiatrist's fault? Certainly not the doctor's fault. But a shady psychiatrist could push someone in the wrong direction, I can see that happening. I will write a blog post on the subject soon called "knowing you're a girl" I don't believe in mental therapy, I believe in self honesty whether one likes the answer they get or not. A good example, if I took hormones and suddenly lost my spark, I would no way in hell go through with the surgery! If someone can't accept me for who I am, I didn't need them to begin with! I hope people don't hop on the band wagon and start class action lawsuits and wreck it for those of us that know what we want! God forbid, if I had the surgery and later changed my mind! Lol Do you think I would sue someone for my own doing? No way. I do feel for those post-ops that had a change of heart though. Just don't wreck it for the rest of us.

I know this is society gone mad!

You can sue for literally ANYTHING these days.

It will get to the point where you have to sign a waver for anything and everything!

Hmmmm....funny...I don't think anyone put a gun to these people's heads and told them to have SRS, correct?  Basically it comes to this:  If you have SRS for the wrong reasons and then "regret" it, deal with it.  Don't go around bitching, moaning, and suing doctors and therapists for something that you are solely responsible.  And incidentally, the *you* is impersonal! ;)

Sorry Tink, but I confess. I was standing around with a gun in my hand and nothing to do, so I used the gun to force some people to get SRS.

The odd thing is I don't know why they are suing their doctors and not suing me.

LOL  ;D Don't worry Rebis...since I am not responsible for my own actions, I will sue you for "forcing" me to have SRS.  How dare you make people do what they don't want to do, huh?  ;)

Yes, but isn't it politically correct to then rather sue the gun manufacturer?
...or does that equation only come into play (from your side) once they've sued you Rebis? ...Or maybe I've just been watching too many episodes of Boston Legal... ???

That's a tough one. I guess they would go after the gun manufacturer. If they go after me, it will negate the guilt on the part of the gun manufacturer.  They won't get much money from me - ($35.00 or so). They'll get more from the big business.

So they have to go for the gun manufacturer.  Good thinking.  Are you available to handle land disputes?
