In the beginning of HRT, the first few months one will develop firm lumps under the nipple area that slowly enlarge and soften. After a while the lumps become less noticeable as the breasts as a whole become more developed. I don't know if there is any specific definition of the lumps or what their role is, but that was my experience at least. At this point...about 2 years on HRT, I haven't noticed the lumps for a while as they've developed into just natural breast tissue now, although still growing [hopefully].

By the way, not to be nosy, but how are you coming into all this information about your friend? Do you both use a shared computer somewhere or something?

Is it normal for a friend to be monitoring what their friend is viewing online? That sounds like an invasion of privacy to me. Is that fair on your friend?

They are their own person, they don't need to tell you anything they don't want to.

My advise, pretend you did not see it. Don't look at their browse history.

i know i shouldnt be sneeking around to see what he is up to (i do feel bad about it). but, i really care about him and want to be prepared to help when and if he ever approaches me with this. i was planning to confont him about all of this. i think it is prudent to let him come to me, he knows how much i care about him so hopefully when he is ready he knows i will be there for him in every way. the only concern i have is that he has started horomones so i think its only a matter of time before everyone knows. i was just trying to head off some worries for him, but i'll wait and see what happens.

I agree, to have a friend like you is something I wish I could have....just without the snooping.

You could Mention things like...I noticed that you look different somehow but I can't quite put a finger on it, but I like it, you look more...
if you want to try to spark a conversation, however if your friend is
already taking the steps to transition, your gonna find out sooner or later, only it will be by your
friends choosing which may be the best bet.

Best wishes to you and your friend

i know , i hate the snooping part myself. the only reason i had done it is because i care so much about him. it hurts to think he my feel so alone. i figure the more i know where he is at the more i will be ready for it when and if he tells me. i try to justify the snooping in my head, thinking that some of the stuff i have descovered was by his choosing by the suddle hints he has given me over time. i dont know, i just know i have never cared about anyone as much as i care about him, even more now. i fear  loosing him over this, in him thinking i wouldnt except all of this. how ever i know this will probably change the dynamic of our relationship somewhat. but i will be there no matter what....

You truly are a precious blessing, and with having you on your friend's side, well can't go wrong there.

I am sure he will be grateful when the time comes.

You know you should not be snooping but you are doing it for the right reason.  All I can say is that until your friend is ready to talk to you she will probably just deny everything and you may lose a friend.  I think you need to be patient and let her come to you.  You can drop some subtle hints that you are always ready to listen regardless of what the topic is and eventually she will come to you.

Good luck I wish we could all have friends that were as caring but we are not all as lucky.

If they are transitioning to female, you should say She sweety. =] You're a good person to care so much for your friend.
I like gaming =] Feel free to play games with my girlfriend and I on Steam! Jushiness is my steam ID
