So being my second time around for HRT, things are a little different this time.  The first time I went on HRT my breasts never really hurt anytime.  Now that I'm on my second time around I've just started HRT again like 4 weeks ago and my breasts have been killing me this time around.  First off, what gives exactly this time?  I don't think my body has changed since the first time taking HRT to the second time.  Last time I did this, I could sleep on my stomach and not feel anything, now this time it's pretty painful to do that.  What would necessarily change from last time taking HRT that would cause this to happen?

Good question.  I am in the same boat.  The first time nothing, not even much growth.  This time they hurt for a while and that stopped.  And now I am getting more growth.  Woo Hoo.

Is this just some random phenomenon to getting bigger boobs then or something? :P just messing around Janet, but still curious on some level!

Have you changed the type of HRT? That may be the link as it may be better accepted by your body. Are you on the same dose (I'm not asking for details as that would breach the guidelines of Susan's). Just yes of No.

I did a post about painful breast buds so not sure if that's is what is going on in your case.

I've found that if I've forgotten to take my estrogen for a dose, my breasts start hurting the next day, and then I take the hrt and they seem to grow. I'm not sure why, or why it seems to kind of trigger a growth period.

Now that I'm post-op, the affect is a little more and they've been hurting lots. When I stopped hrt for surgery, they hurt after and continued to grow for two weeks. After surgery and after starting HRT they seemed to not grow much at all. After a few months, they started up again and so did my whole body and tons of changes. I think during the first couple of months my body was busy healing more so than trying to grow breasts. Now they are growing fine.

I know this is totally weird.  Who knows, maybe this is some unknown never to be solved by medical science! haha.

And stardust, I'm on the same dose and everything as I was before, no variables have changed.

This effect is much more common than you may think, if you go on the hrt support groups theres a significant amount of girls who say the same as you Shanetastic

ive never stopped for a second to notice but then i also do not wish to be top heavy :)
