By Max Blumenthal, The Daily Beast. Posted February 7, 2009

Didn't the Republicans who turned to Rush Limbaugh read the poll which found that he's one of the least popular political figures in the country?

Republicans who have turned to Rush Limbaugh to lead the fight against President Obama may have backed the wrong horse. According to one recent poll, Limbaugh turns out to be one of the most unpopular political figures in the country.

What ever else he has done - and I'm not exactly thrilled with it - making Rush the poster boy for the 'pubs, was political brilliance beyond belief.  Obama is a political gangster, don't mess with that.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Yeah, I got the feeling that the bad-boy of Gape Girardeau, MO., may just be totally outta his league here. He may have never seen anyone like he's about to see. For that matter that the 'pubes are about to see. Why do I get the feeling we're just gettin' started?
