Financial supporters of Florida's Amendment 2, the dangerously worded constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage in the state, may now have their day in the sunshine.

A new website called Marriage4All.org has launched with a handy, searchable database and map so you can find out who in your area gave money to take away the rights of others. But this site provides more than just names of contributors, it also has information on conflict resolution and how to approach those around you to talk about the real impact of Amendment 2.

It's not retribution, it's about changing minds and holding people accountable.

Hey, retribution works for me too.  Why give money to business that hate you?
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

This happened in MA with people who signed the petitions to stop the marriages.  I checked out the list and there were people near me, but no one that I knew.

The act was entirely harmless.  But you can read articles and blogs about 'how would the people who do this kind of thing like it being done to them'?

The difference is that people who are okay with same sex marriage won't hate crime the people who signed a petition against them.  The people against the marriages are more likely to hate crime others.

But, I think good people are becoming less afraid of bullies.

Giving money to a political campaign is a public action.

I gave a total of $350 to defeat Prop 8.  I'm proud of my participation, and don't mind that the Yes on H8ers know it.

But the weird thing is, I can't find my name in any of the public disclosure lists, even though I have the credit card receipts for the donations.

You weren't ripped off by the bad guys pretending to be good guys, were you?   The haters here were fooling people into signing their petitions by using childish tricks that apparently worked.

Now THAT would be a story worthy of uncovering...
