And yes, I will steal a page out of Karen's playbook and write my congress critter to make my feelings known.

Enclose a check, or better yet, cash.  Pay to play and all.
I *was* wondering when we'd get around to a vague blago reference...

Really the pols in Illinois are not corrupt at all!  Ever since the first Mayor Daley cleaned things up there has been almost no corruption at all!

Well, not that much, really.

Well, there is a bit of it around, but hardly noticeable.

Well, there was that one occasion...

Ok, well there is more than meets the eye...

Jeez! Are you going to bring those other things up too??

Ok, reputations have been tarnished, but it's really ok.  Just ask Ed Vrdoliak!

Hey!  I live here I can out "vague reference" anyone!!!

Blago is going to be joining what is almost an entire wing in prison filled with past governors from the Land of Lincoln.  What it's say on your state plates these days?  Illinois, Making Louisiana Look Honest!

Better that than Oklahoma: "Where men are men!  (And sheep are nervous)"

That's OK, out of sheer stupidity California is so broke they are making all the state employees take every other Friday off without pay.  Were changing our State Song to "Brother Can You Spare a Dime" and our plates to - California, Got Fity Cent?

At least with corruption, someone made the money.

Awe dear, everyone knows that everything is legal in Jersey as long as you don't get caught.

Interesting article

But, back to the topic, at least Ill. is making an effort.  Yes, there should be a provision to allow a US certified doctor write a letter if the work is done overseas, but I understand the need to have some sort of legal recourse if a letter was written with fraud and intent to deceive.  They can go after a US doctor, suspend, fine and imprison them.  What can they do to a doctor overseas?  Write him a nasty letter?

Aw, dear, everything in NJ is legal, been made that way. The only catching that gets done is by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

They pretty much do so. Few investigations. The last couple have had their own "political" slant to them.

I just get tired of having to pay three times over there for everything but groceries. And the grocery stores are really not close enough to use them most of the time. :) Youse pays so many times because the pols need support, ya know.
