I am a gay cd,it took me years to come out as a gay man although being gay is almost acceptable these days my family could never understand their son being gay. However being gay and being a cd do not necessarily go hand in hand.I know cd's who think that if you are a gay cd then you should maybe  be a woman and change your sex.I would appreciate your thoughts on this topic especially from gay cd's.

On the plus side, a lot of 'straight guys' like CDs.

I would suspect that there are a lot of CDs, who play with other CDs, I don't know what they label it as, but there seems to be plenty of them.

I always get confused here. I like to CD, and I often want to be a woman outside of the sexual realm. I enjoy women, and I enjoy men but I really hate having to be a man in bed. I don't like fulfilling the "boyfriend" role for girls, and while I have had some GREAT sex with gay men it is always brought down by the fact that they want me to be gay, and really I'm looking for a straight man.

It's so hard to find a gay man that doesn't act girly and won't touch my dick.

Yes, I agree.  I have found that being "gay" is a separate entity from being a "cd".  From what I have learned - gays don't want to be with a cd.  And cd's don't want to be with gays.   Cd's (straight or gay) are more acceptable with those identified as "lesbians"  I know this isn't true of all gays, cd's and lesbians.  However, Tre-ess doesn't want gay cd's at their meetings.  And gays don't mingle with cd's in a club.  They want another man.  Not a man dressed as a woman.  I am sure there is more to it than what I have stated.

;) I do know several gay drag queens but they are really not the same a cd. There a alot of guys who just like cd's and sexual preferance is not an issue. I'm a crossdresser and there is one guy (bi) who seems to be stalking me. He's a nice guy but he does'nt know the term "hands off". If I could Email him to you I would. Be patient. You have friends so your not entirely alone. Hugs, Genevieve

Some admirers can be problematic. When I was searching for TG and CD support sites I came across one and literally within minutes of posting my introduction thread I got an very awkward email from one.

They're not all bad, but there are a few who come off creepy.

I have seen study done in the UK and gay crossdressers make up avery small percentage of the androgenous culture. But you don't have to feel lonely. It makes you unique. I like that "Unique Dominique" Your special. I know a person in Utah named Dominique. He/she and another CD named Kendra (drag queen) are together alot. Genevieve
