This is a drugstore.  At any given time, people are buying althlete's foot spray, enemas, yeast infection cream, wart removers, laxitives, etc.  I'd think they'd barely remember something like hair remover.  If it helps, just tell yourself "They see worse."

heck, I had to buy pepto bismol, imodium, toilet paper, and I bought my gf a box of chocolates once. I just said "guess which one is the impulse buy". The clerk laughed.

But I know how you feel. the first time I bought boxers, I thought they were going to call security. My gf told me much later that she used to go in and buy them for her husband all the time. And guys buy stuff for women. You might want to go in with a list and look at it as you buy it, so it looks like someone else sent you if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Epilating is dually as painful as the waxing, I tried both in my early transition. It was Wing Walker put me on to using Vaniqa to slow down and thin out hair growth on my face. Vaniqa is a cream in a tube, just a dab on the tip of your finger of about the size of an aspirin and just rub it in vigorously to get itno the pores.

I guess the combination vaniqa, epilator and good old estrogen has done it's job. I alo swear by Mary Kay products. Been using it for 8 years and it has done wonders keeping my facial skin soft and supple and the desired result is hardly any wrinkles.

I used tons of epilating, and still do so today, as well as Nair and waxing, just almost everywhere (except genital areas)--I know it worked for my mother.

The only down side to Vaniqa is the price of the prescription.

There are tons of hair removal products in the market.

Hi Aelita!  Been there too, like everyone else.  When I go out shopping I throw in a bottle of Nair with everything else.  Cashiers never really pay attention to every single item.  I've never received a second look.  I do still get a bit nervous when shopping, so I carry a list with the items I'm looking for.  Sometimes, if I feel the eyes of a sales person on me, I just walk up to that person, show her my list and ask her "can you tell me where to find this?"  Works like a charm, they become so helpful! They assume I'm shopping for someone else.

Yea, as many have said, we share the same stories, been there, didn't do it then did, lol. Vaniqua cream is good for the facial hair, never used on the body though. Epilation might be a way forward and wouldn't use anything else. It has reduced my body hair by about 80% +

Some great advice you've given here, gals.  Just love reading your input.  You're all awesome.  Leiandra, global moderator, your comments are espcially incisive and well-articulated.  You're all very cool.
Believe.  Persist.  Arrive.    :D
