@Nero:
Me too!  When I first saw that outfit, I just thought, "To die for."

I love the top half, I think the trousers and boots are a bit too Labyrinth.

I am of the completely opposite opinion, but that might be because I liked Labyrinth.

I've never seen labyrinth. says Nero who liked the complete outfit.

I'm Labyrinthian, Perfumish and anything extravagant Gothic - any suggestions?

here's a major fashion NOT:

you never do purple and pink together. let alone pink, purple, and orange.

I agree that orange with either pink or purple looks yucky. Orange is best avoided altogether.

But pink and purple can go together beautifully, if you find the right shades of each. Like the candles on an Advent wreath.

But red with either pink or purple is a real no-no. Once I was having a very bad day, I happened to be wearing a red outfit, and without thinking I went out wearing a shiny purple jacket. I looked like a bleeding bruise.

Here's what I find about compromise--
don't do it if it hurts inside,
'cause either way you're screwed,
eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride
