So one of the key factors in realizing that my SO was definitely worth keeping was his understanding and acceptance of my love of animals. They're a major part of my life, almost (aside from the fact they're furry and walk on 4 legs) like my kids.

So, I figured I'd start a thread to see what pets people have.

I myself have
2 cats, Spirit and Speed
1 dog (lab x basset hound) Lady
and 7 chinchillas. 3 males named Monaco, Cuda, and Kiwi and 4 females named Hash, Dakota, Squirt, and Smokie.

No, I don't breed. My males live in one cage, my females split up between two others. (Dakota doesn't like the other girls). I'll see about posting pictures later!

So, what do you have?

I have a pet ferret 

3 Cats, a horse, a parrot and a boyfriend.

Needless to say, the boyfriend took some house training.

What kind of horse? I used to have a quarter horse cross (we just don't know what with). I can't wait to be able to have a horse again.

I have a Black,  Arabian Stallion, his name is Khwanjeel. He is 4 yo, gelded and has a wicked sense of humour.

Oh, nice. I love how Arabians look, but I've yet to come across one with a disposition I like. Could just be the breeding selections in my area. I love the "western" breeds though. That's the country girl in me. Paints, apps, quarters, etc.

Leiandra, Speed (the cat in my avatar) is like that. Follows you like a dog, comes to his name, etc. About the only thing he doesn't do is play fetch, but neither does Lady.

I have a cat but it's run out into the bush and I cant find it. It's not fair thats the third cat thats done that to me when Ive moved.

A ginger cat, who is my baby, a white dog (who thinks he's a cat, and is in love with my cat ) and who is meant to be my brother's but is actually my baby as well , and umpteen fish. And quite a few water snails that I didn't know I had until they emerged from the weed in their aquarium.

2 Buggies and I wuv them! (American Parakeets)

I have one doggy called Gizmo.
Two Hamsters one called Gingey and Snowy.
And also two rabbits, Floppes and bunny.

oh no!! how long has it been gone?

i have a black cat. it's adopted and was born feral. i call her "she" but she was born a hermaphrodite. then she was neutered/spayed so....*shrugs*

I have 3 cats, one of which is my baby he follows me around everywhere his name is Toby, then the other two are twin sisters (who are getting quite old now, Toby is 9-10 months old and the girls are approaching 6?) they are Ava and Snowy

I also have a bird, he's quite evil and loves metal, his name is Sawyer (named after Sawyer from Lost not Tom Sawyer) ^_^

Also in response I have a parakeet, wasn't going to get him I was in Petco for catfood and happened by the parakeets and found my headbanger bird destroying the cage, terrorizing others, and rocking out on the top perch as victor of the cage.

I couldn't pass by getting him, he's priceless.

Toby looks so thrilled lol!
