I've come out to a few friends recently, and they've all been so amazingly lovely and supportive, and I just really wanted to share some of what they said. I seriously can't believe I'm this lucky.

My friends that I've told have been so supportive, too, it's a great feeling because every bit of love and support counts for so much. I feel that I'm in great fortune to have the support of so many friends, and even my close family. It's great to hear that your friends are so accepting!

When I came out, the two closest friends I had turned their backs on me and I was devastated then.
I think it is more important to have only a few friends who really are your friends than to have lots of people who don't support you at all...
For you I hope everyone else around you will behave like that

I (*finally*) told my oldest friend 10 minutes ago (we've known each other since we were three or four) and she said she thought I was just a tomboy, "but it's really no biggie from my perspective...as long as your happy i'm cool!!".

I know I said it before, but I seriously can't believe I'm this lucky in my friends.

And BlueAndYellow, I hope you've found support in other friends. It's one of those things that you don't realise you need until you have it. If that makes sense. And I hope that, in the future, everyone else's friends and family are just as wonderful for everyone.
