Congrats, and the early effects of T vary widly from person to person.  You may get a "scratchy" throat in a week or two and wonder if you're getting sick.  Libido changes are often very soon too.  Acne...

Congrats on your first shot. The only thing I have heard from a lot of people is in thier earlier stages of going on T people have a very high sex drive.

I had hot flashes for the first week I was on T. Not exactly something to look forward to, but if you get them, don't be worried... I've been told it's pretty normal.

I got hot flashes a month or two in, they lasted for a few weeks. But yeah, first changes was libido and appetite... and though this is just psychologically, I felt much more aware of my body.

I got hot flashes after a week on T injections (I also got that monthly thang after a week on T).  Then the hot flashes went away for about a month, but have started up again this past week.  Incidentally, that monthly thing should be happening now-ish (but it hasn't happened, so woot) and I wonder if the hot flashes are related...

And yeah, what other people have mentioned: hungry, scratchy throat, more energetic, sleeping patterns thrown outta whack (happened when I was a teenager as well), libido was slightly higher (but nowhere near as unmanageable as when I was 13).
