I want to start T and am ready. I just have to manage to actually get to an endo. to get checked out and do the testing so my therapist can bring me up for review. However, I am seeing a therapist in MN and am currently in Upper MI til May. The endo throught the clinic I am going to is only there on Mondays and Thursdays but I am only able to be there on Tuesdays (and weekends). I have another also in the the Twin cities I can go to and I need to call to see if that person is available on April 6, otherwise I'm out of luck til May. I lose my insurance in May due to graduating from college so this is another concern. And since this seems to have turned into a bit of a rant... I reeeeeeally want my breasts gone. My back hurts and it would just be a relief all around for me!

Just curious where in the TC you go, I just moved out to Cali from Minneapolis. And have been considering moving back for the summer to save money.

The endo isn't going to reschedule his golf game to meet with you, you'll have to take a day off to meet with him.

I go to the Center for Sexual Health through the University of Minnesota.

I have an appt. scheduled in May. Uh, I have missed probably about a week worth of classes thus far due to conferences and being sick (would the weather decide to be warm already) and I will be missing a full week and a day of classes due to a career related conference at the end of the month. I can't afford to miss more classes.

Stephen, have you tried some of the doctors listed on the MN Trans Health Coalition web site?  You might be able to find one who has a better schedule for you.  http://www.mntranshealth.org/  Several of the doctors listed under "Family Practice Physicians" also prescribe and monitor hormones.  Dr. Thorpe, under, OB/GYN, also does, but I can tell you right now she's booked 3 months out. (Unless she's had a cancellation)

Edit:  Just wanted to note, in addition to Thorpe, I've heard good things about Dr. Willis, Dr. Bucher, and Dr. Meininger.  Meininger is a pediatrician, and usually limits his patients to those under 25.  I'll be seeing Bucher on the 30th, so I can give you a first hand account then.

(Admin. - I'm assuming since I'm link staff, I can post links, but if I'm wrong, please let me know.)
