I just came back from a shopping excursion with my mother. (second honeymoon)
We were stuck in the lingerie department for hours as she contemplated the virtues of satin vs. lace.
So I was stuck staring at underwear and I was shocked at how many different kinds there are these days, especially for women.

I chose regular women's underwear: however, it all depends on what one considers regular.  I'm not really picky when it comes to underwear, so I'm usually happy when I find cheapy ones...like the ones they sell at walgreens, for example.  After all I'm the only one who sees them, so why spend lots of money on brand names like cosabella or chantelle?....just my two cents...

I said regular women underwear, but I do like satin and lace. I love all the different colors. I usually wear the regular cut but with a satin finish and a color that fits my mood or matches my outfit. The lace ones are for special occasions. I don't like thons because my things between my legs fall out.

I really do not have a preference.  I wear bikinis, boy shorts, thongs, or briefs.  It depends on my mood and what outfit I plan on wearing that day over it.  If its a special ocassion then I will usually choose to wear something very sexy such as a thong or tie side string bikini.  I love satin, silk, cotton and lace panties in all colors and prints, including animal prints.  Most of my underwear I bought at Kohls, Sears, J.C. Penney's, Frederick's of Hollywood and Victoria's Secret.  I love Mudd and Candies bra's and panties for juniors, which is what I normally wear and they're a lot less expensive that what you may find thats comparable at Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood.   Just my $.02 worth!

Okay, first gotta say I feel crazy uncomfortable in lingerie sections, but my mom and friends invariably take me into them. I go with boxer briefs, personally, and am undergoing a personal agony currently as I'm living with my folks for the time being and if they saw these in the laundry, they'd kill me. Even women's "boxer briefs" (called boy briefs, usually) don't begin to compare to men's, but I guess I have to grin and bear it.

i went with regular womens underwear.  bikinis and thongs for me just doesn''t do it.  underwear has to be silk or satin though.  as a matter of fact today i bought my own satin panties.  i had been wearing my wifes for over a year since she passed away.  also bought pantyhose and makeup for myself.  now i have to figure out how to put the makeup on.

There are some nice mens ones that I've gathered in quite the collection. Although no lace or silk, its got enough colors and a high enough cut for me to be satisfied. Plus they're very comfy...

On the womens side, I only got one, but hopefully that will change. Probably won't be cotton, probably will have some lace...

ah, back to boxers. Commando just doesn't work for me, and after 3 days of trying to wear chicks' underwear, I gave up. It's just not natural, I suppose.
