http://pamshouseblend.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=9854Update: Fritz and Kringas have suggested that this may be an attempt by "radical queer provocateurs" to make a point about gay and trans people being discriminated against when it comes to donating blood for transfussions.
If this actually was an attempt by "radical queer provocateurs" to make their point about blood transfussions, this was just about the most offensive misuse of a death to make their point. That's because using Jennifer Gale -- a trans woman who's tragic death had nothing whatsoever to do with blood transfusions -- seems a particularly ghastly and inappropriate way to abuse the memory of a trans woman's unrelated-to-their-cause death to make their point.
The issue that many in the trans community see as tied to Jennifer Gale's death is how homeless trans people often can't find any shelters in many cities and counties that respect their gender identities. If queer activists were the ones who put this flier together, using Jennifer Gale's death to make a point about how gay and trans people aren't able to donate blood would seem pretty insensitive, and pretty far off the mark.
