2% plain milk on ice.

Try vanilla extract, works in soda as well.

milk weirds me out.
I'll use it for cooking and i love cheese and stuff, but drinking the milk from another species well beyond our infancy is sorta weird to me.

I LOVE MILK. Any flavor, but I tend to just stick with plain. I think it's a family thing; I have a cousin who drinks at least a gallon a day. I probably drank a half gallon a day before starting my current weight-loss strategy... now, despite my propensity for whole milk, I've switched to skim, and probably have about 32-48oz a day. I assume it's done wonders for my bones... I've only ever broken one, a small one in my foot, but my nails and hair grow at astounding rates. Suppose I'll never have to worry about osteoporosis.

At the start of 8th grade, I was 5'7" and 99 pounds. My doctor put me on a high-fat diet including extra rich milk and, get this, a milkshake every night after dinner. To me, that was the best damned prescription I ever had. By the end of 8th grade, I was 5'9" and 124 pounds. I'd gained 25 pounds in 8 months, but also grew 2 inches.

I've heard American milk don't taste too nice. I'm from the land of milk and honey. Our milk is supposed to be great. I like it anyway.

I love milk.  The more the merrier.  And If I could unpasteurized, unhomogenized, creme on the top.  But because of the cost, I use powered milk.  It really isn't bad, if you make it according to the directions, exactly.

"But because of the cost, I use powered milk. "

Funny you should mention powdered milk, Janet, as I was thinking about it at my first post in this thread. My mother raised me and my three siblings on the stuff. This was back through the late half of the sixties up to about '78. The only time "real" milk came into the house was for cooking, baking in particular.

I may just have to get some and try it again, if only for cost, rather than nostalgic reasons.

I only eat milk in my cereal.  Otherwise nothing.

Can't take milk, it gives me a really bad stomach. Yesterday made lasagna with the usual béchamel, still feeling rough today...

I only have milk in tea really, don't drink it on it's own...

But if I am then I'll go for Chocolate flavoured. :)

boohoo im lactose intolerant

but if I can ever find vanilla milkshake (especially frijj variety) I cope through the stomach cramps and possible vomiting because it's just that awesome xD

It's really hard to find, lucky for my digestive system, bad for my tastebuds

I'm not a big fan of soy milk in general, but the Silk brand of soy milk is quite good. Especially the CHOCOLATE!

Michelle.

Plain ol' whole mik for me.

Half and half to cool down really hot coffee.

About half and half a few years ago I had my cholesterol level checked as part of a routine health exam, 30 yeah.

My level came back at 220+.

My PCP and I narrowed it down to the half and half.

Checking the back of the carton shows that each tablespoon is equilvilant to something close to 15%!!! of suggested daily intack.

Just a thought.

Hugs,
Michelle.

Hmmmmmm, nobody even mentioned ice cream.  What is this world coming to?

I have milk on cereal occasionally, but just can't stand to drink it.  But freeze it into ice cream, well that's another story!

I'm vegan, so no cow/goat/camel/rabbit juice for me. Occasionally though I'll treat myself to some chocolate soy milk.

Mina.

I with Mina on this one. I did find an awesome vegan restaurant in Brooklyn called FoodSwings (off the J/Z line near the Marcy station). They make the best chocolate shakes I've ever had.
