Good name... my best friend when I was a little kid was named Christoph. Just make sure you're ready for any possible references to other people with that name... today, for the five thousandth time it seemed, I had someone comment that my name sounds like "Sebastian Bach"... and no, I didn't mean to name myself after some gay hair band guy.

Sorry... little personal rant. I don't know of anyone named Kristoph apart from my old friend, but just something to keep in mind.

I like it, but you might consider taking "Christoph" instead - if you go for "Kristoph", be prepared to say "Kristoph-with-a-k" every single time someone asks for your name.

I actually really like that name, especially with the K spelling.  Sounds like a good choice to me!

Hi nice name,
But I agree with anoulie, your forever going to correct the spelling!

Two stories, I bagan as Cindi, in the end gave into pressure to Cindy. I have a cis friend called Vicki, she is forever on the phone saying and that's Vicki with an i.

Kristof or Kristoff (?) looks cooler IMHO!

I like the 'K' too!  And people will always ask you how to spell your name, even if it's a common spelling (I can't tell you how many times I've had to spell "Jessica"...are there really that many different spellings?  :-\)

I've never seen anyone spell Jessica any other way.  And yeah, the K makes it more unique, and I personally think it looks good that way.

I'm pretty sure Kristoff isn't that uncommon worldwide...it's just not that common in English.
