I came out because I want to start transitioning. I also just needed to stop hiding.

Yeah, I hate the feeling like you're hiding something, and wishing that people will somehow guess and tell you they know so you don't have to figure out how tell them. I think I've been lucky in the people I've told so far, but the need to start telling people that I have a more distant/professional relationship with is starting to get to me. :embarrassed:

QuoteBTW, Miniar, I've been meaning to say I LOVE your dancing GIR. He makes me smile every time!  ;D

I agree, I can't help staring at him. I've memorised his dance, even. ::) Forget female breasts, give me a dancing dog-dressed robot anyday! ;) ;D

I came out as I was sick to death of hiding and pretending to be a "girl" and hopelessly trying to fit in with other women and was sick of being looked at like a butch lesbian!

This is the same reason why I am coming out. Besides the fact that I feel so lonely and so hopeless inside. My plan is to legally change my name in September, come out as FTM (everyone assumes I am a "butch lesbian") to my family before my top surgery. My plan is to have the surgery done this November but this depends if I get a letter from the therapist, then come out to my boss and workplace before I start T.

I couldn't lie to myself or my family anymore. I became this person I didn't even know, so a became the person that I knew I was.
