How many times a year do you see the doctor that prescribed you the testosterone? And how many times do you need bloodwork done to check if you have the correct level?

Thanks!

I believe this depends on the Dr. mine is done as follows.
Full screen first visit then after 6 weeks more blood (limited) to see how things are going then every three months for a year then every 6 months then once every two years. I see my Dr. after each blood draw for the results. SO a lot for me in the first year then tapers off to next to nothing. You should ask your Dr. upfront especially if your insurance doesn't cover it and you need to know how much money you are coming up with.
It's my understanding from different Drs. I talked to they all do different things. I think there are standards of care people just interpret them differently, I went for someone who seemed to be looking out for my health.

Yeah mine was about the same as Myles for my endo. I stopped seeing her after the first year or two. I get my shots at my GP's office and basically just go see the GP for my annual checkup, except post-hysto she wanted to see me cause my T levels were too high. I'd already voluntarily reduced the dose because being hornier than a billy goat 24/7 wasn't as fun as it sounds. So she said "do you actually need me for anything?" I said, just order blood tests in a few months to check out the levels and make sure they're not too low, but this feels right.

Otherwise, it's just my annual checkup that I see her for.
