I just told my online bf that I'm really a girl irl. and..... guess what? so did he.

So... my gay relationship just turned lesbian. o.o

It's so scarey. Our stories are practically identical. We just started out for curiousity, and then it just got out of control and became more comfortable than reality and all that.

this is just.... insane. Lol. but funny. but crazy. but hilarious. Lol.

Lol, ja. It's crazy funny. I'm sorta going through moodswings over it, though. One second I'm giggling up a storm, then the next I'm chewing on my nail over it, before laughing again. lol.
Though, I'm taking it much better than she is. She ish much more dysphoric about coming out. She was worried I was gonna hunt her down or something.

We have two characters (she's an amazing artist and I write. lol) that we're going to keep together, but, as far as her and I go, she's not sure what she wants to do. I don't think either of us are comfortable with dating while we're pre-op. lol, so, I think I'm single. She's gonna sleep on it. and, I'm probably going to just go along with what she wants. LOL.

My head is spinning. LOL.

Jake, I'm confused. First you called this person your boyfriend and "him." Now it's "she." So your friend is physically female but identifies as male? Or the other way around?

Just want to get things straight. It's a crazy world we live in--what a trip!

lol, yeah. See, we're both female, biologically. And online, we're both posing ourselves as gay males. Up until I posted this thread, we didn't know about the other being female. So we both came out about being transsexual.

o.O
does that make better sense?

i don't understand.
if you're a FTM like you've said, you wouldn't see yourself as female, regardless of the body you have.
just my opinion, though.
lesbian would mean you're female. and you identify as male, correct?
all FTM's are born with female bodies (which is why they're FTM's) but they don't refer to themselves as females.

So is he just acting male or actually identifies as male? Cause if he identifies as male then it's only polite to address him as such... I mean, several of us here are biologically female yet we don't appreciate being refered to as "she."

I'm still pretty much getting used to calling myself a guy. I mean, i'm just mentally a guy right now. I'm finding it hard to refer myself irl as a male when I'm not physically male yet.... *Blinks* it just confuses people I talk to which ends up confusing me. lol. I've really been confused as to what to call myself lately...

Identifies as male. He's wanting to have the change, but is afraid to because of his father.

So why the switch to female pronouns when referring to your bf?  And if you both ID as male, then you're gay transguys, in a gay relationship, so male pronouns...?  and not lesbians?

Am I missing something?

I think you're missing that the OP is still in the stage of the game where things aren't 100% clear (and may not be for a while).

I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything. It sort of shocked me and got 'she' stuck in my head. I was sort of joking about the whole lesbian thing. lol. My brother was the one who started the whole calling us 'lesbians'... lol. I think I just needed to get 'she' out of my system...
