So true, except I don't make myself feel fem, I just kinda sorta feel that way, sometimes more deeply than others.

When my gf plays with my hair, I melt. That makes me feel really feminine.

But last night when my T (who hasn't ever seen me dressed since i came out to her several weeks ago) asked "How do you want to present to me?" I gushed, 'Let's go shopping and we'll see.'

And so, the possibility of clothes shopping with my gf, yea, that too.

Agreed, I don't have to make myself feel fem. That's just how I feel 

I think another way to view the question would be, what is your favorite thing through which you express your femininity?  This is the crossdresser forum but it seems a lot of us are dropping in from other locations

The baths, shaving, nylons, heels etc. etc. are all external, for me its whats inside that counts.

Sigh! Yes, flirting with someone I fancy -- or even just talking with a friendly soul! -- would make me feel extremely feminine. Provided that they accepted me as "one of the girls," that is.

Alas, I doubt that will ever happen. At least not in this lifetime. So until my next re-incarnation, I make do with stockings and heels and fantasies.

Having someone recognize the female inside of me.  Doesn't matter what I wear.

Believe me people will pick up on femininity even if you dress male. Just flirt with people for the fun of it, it's only being polite at the end of the day. Straight guys are the most amusing as they are the least aware and generally they respond subconsciously before realising what they are doing. It's fun and makes people feel good.

I have not done too much dressing yet, but through my experience in drawing, coloring and being artistic, I would say eye-liner, eye-shadow, some foundation, a feminine hair-style and female clothing to compliment that would be my ideal feminine characteristics :3
My personality reflects my self image, so that is a given lol

Let's not forget goth/emo without 'hate the world' feminine attitudes

My girlfriend recognizing me as a female makes me feel feminine too X3

The sounds entertaining... girl-as-guy flirting with guy who not only doesn't know that the other guy is actually a girl-as-guy but also doesn't know that said girl as guy is flirting with him.  If I knew any guys worth flirting with I might try it :p.

Believe me it works! Had a major success with a really hot guy just yesterday Was wearing male clothes, dark red t-shirt, old pale grey jeans and a really tight yellow and brown checked shirt half unbuttoned that frankly I was bursting out of in the right places!

Was with a Pakistani girl friend at the time, don't know if that has anything to do with it. Think he feels safer when I'm with someone else!
